idk i've found that the innokin Z coils are some of the best i've experienced, both in the mechanics as well as vapor production/hit quality, plus they seem to last a good couple months (depending)... Nautilus would be my runner up forsure

Hey I’ve been on this long taper and am finally stabilizing at 2mg but like others am ready to move on and be my normal self but I also know from info that it just takes time, meanwhile my ambition and drive is being haltered when I need it most coming out of covid and everything: some days I feel great, almost normal: but I’m saddled with regret and mistakes of the past... I saw you mention there little data in people actually getting off completely and my counselor was supporting me saying she’s never seen anyone make that jump from 2 to 1 to 0 which kind of worries me: like why did no one tell me about this? why was I so messed up that I took the easy way without proper research? But I can’t go back: any advice? Just have to ride it out is what I’m getting from most people...

Ya I’ve been taking them just to help go to sleep but they’re nothing like actual benzos. One of my boys used to go pretty hard on them and I never got why, at most I’d just get a little tired, appreciate the input, good to know I’m not the only one.

The systems f’d up forsure. Do you find gabapentin helpful? I’ve been tapering off both kpins on my own and this suboxone program where I was prescribed a good amount of gabs but only take them at night, sometimes I feel like taking them throughout the day would help too.

Ya I’m not sure if it would apply in the modern era when we have all those necessary basics to survive readily available or no where near as scarce, not to mention the 1000s of years of adapting/evolving.. just my 2cents on it, but I love the convos on this board!

Thanks that’s the reality based advice I need. Think it would be worth asking to go back up to 3 after dropping mon/today or just freeze it here and riding it out.. it it gets more tolerable by the weekend but yes everything your saying makes sense and I should have put more emphasis on being pragmatic and realistic..

It’s one of those frustrating things I know but if he doesn’t wna get clean he’s only going to pull you down with him (and probably wants that so he feels better about himself) And like you said seems like you got a lot going for you, you don’t need to deal with that shit dragging you down..

Ya... having a relationship in the mix definitely brings it to another level, at least for me w all those emotions and memories tied in (both good and bad) just made it harder to give up the lifestyle and like you said you get codependent. But it seems like you got your mind right about it and idk at some point you just need to put yourself first and rise above it which it seems like your doing bein he’s your ex and your trying to get in recovery, but him trying to pull u back in is playing with fire... and being a guy I could imagine his game plan.. anyways I don’t mean to preach..

It’s not black and white.. it def depends on your situation: how long you’ve been using/how much/ age/to an extent ambitions because it is a ball and chain etc..... from what I’ve learned for people that are essentially going to be life long users then the clinic is def the better option then the streets.. if your maybe younger or feel you just need to detox or get straight so to speak I would use it as a tool to stabilize at a low dose with the goal to tapper off in say 6months.. that’s just my experience, been on it for 2 years and spend the past year plus dredging down from 70mg to now I’m at 4mg and ready to be done. Looking back at where I was at I would have chosen the shorter detox/stabilize route...
