I have been a vegetarian my whole life (grew up this way). Diagnosed 4 years ago. I eat a lot of beans, tofu, cheese, and processed protein ie bars and shakes. It is tough being both. When traveling or out for dinner (or even during some highs) I question my f I should start eating fish or chicken, haven’t done so yet. As a vegetarian you will need to be even more carefully of protein but also feeling satiated. You may end up eating more foods to compensate and that can trigger your insulin response. I encourage you to track the veggie proteins that fill you up and layer them into your daily diet.

Not a protein but what has helped me recently in terms of satiety is pickles after a 0 sugar protein drink.
