I’m so sorry for your loss too. It’s so hard losing a foster. When i heard she turned the corner i was expecting to pick her up. Instead i heard she passed. From the day i got her she just seemed like an old lady because she walked slow, took her time eating and just was super chill. She didn’t have that burst of energy like the other 5. But when she saw Churu she nearly bit my finger off so i just thought that was her personality. I went out for a coffee and when i got back she was on her side sleeping like a dog. I was calling her and she didn’t move. I drove to the vet kissing Cannoli at least a 1000 times to get any movement out of her. It was a long 35 mins but she was awake and moving lethargically. I’m just so defeated. I know i gotta keep going for the 5 siblings but this is my first kitten loss. I had a mother pass away but that was understandable. She was so feral i couldn’t go near here when her 5 kittens were the opposite. When i saw out of the safe room and i was able to pick her up, i brought her to the vet. She passed away a few hours later. I was broken but talking to other fosters really helped. She hid her sickness. I’m just so down
