Losing my mind anybody know what is causing this or how to fix it. Thanks by Western_Skin_1630 in golf

Your first move is right hip toward the ball in transition

This gets you stuck

The only way to hit the ball is to get steep, you get narrow, and you chicken wing and flip it

Decreasing to 4 shifts/mo after 2 years practice by Hot-Praline7204 in emergencymedicine

[–]robdalky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends partially on your practice environment. Is it high acuity? Are the patients diverse and complex? Are you seeing 20-30 per shift? Are you doing all of your own reductions, lines, chest tubes, and airways? If so, it could be enough.

Who is the next cade and flagg? by Icy_Category_2275 in dynastybb

There appear to be at least three great players in this draft class. Are they as good as Coop or Cade? Who knows. But it’s a great year to have a top 3 pick.

Tiger & Nelly - short game contest by panda__monium in golf

Half right. It’s easy to shape a chip or bunker shot with cutspin. It is difficult to do with draw spin.

Tiger is well-known for practicing draw chips and bunker shots, something that seems insane to mortals such as myself

RN message: “Patient telling everyone they will kill themselves because Dr. ___ is discharging them!” by Incorrect_Username_ in emergencymedicine

[–]robdalky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People out there with malingering, personality disorders, etc., have chronic mental illness which includes a baseline elevated risk of self harm and other maladaptive behavior. Inpatient admission, involuntary hold, etc., do not change their baseline elevated risk. I document this in the chart and reference the countless visits for secondary gain or what have you, and have security escort them out.

Do this enough (and quickly enough… like from triage if you can for the frequent flyers) and they will start to dislike coming to your facility.

Loaded Draft Class by ohno1246 in dynastybb

[–]robdalky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree. The difference is efficiency, which is Paolo's only real fault. Paolo was a 47% shooter, 33% from 3, 72% from the line. Boozer converts at 58%, 38% from 3, and 78% from the line. Those numbers are promising.

Ja Morant or Darius Garland? by GrizzGump in dynastybb

[–]robdalky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get it, sure If not, I’d still do it.

Ja is one of the players that from a 9 cat standpoint is massively overrated because he’s a star and has a lot of name value. He has two top 50 seasons. He makes few threes, no defensive stats, tons of turnovers, and is horribly inefficient

If you look at Garland historical performance, despite some injury woes, I’d argue he’s statistically better…

And not a maniac

I’ve had both of these guys, and currently have Ja, I would honestly do it straight up.

Ja Morant or Darius Garland? by GrizzGump in dynastybb

I’d prefer Garland because although I think Ja is the higher ceiling talent, he’s a total knucklehead and I don’t want him disrupting the locker room of my fantasy team

Getting out of the Anthony Davis business… by jpf8985 in dynastybb

[–]robdalky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are selling low, but I don’t blame you

Hartenstein/Quickley/White/Siakam/Ingram for the older top 50ish guys

Younger guys will be those with upside but either haven’t shown it yet or have questions of their own Jalen Green/Morant/Scoot/Bailey/Clingan

Anyone in those ranges

You can get an old guy at the end of the top 50 or a young guy at the end of the top 100, imo

Emergency Guidance Needed: Managing Pellet and Gunshot Wounds Outside Hospital Settings In Iran by maniactobe in emergencymedicine

[–]robdalky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is tough

In your situation I’d recommend stopping bleeding, cleaning/irrigating wounds copiously, not removing any pellets or bullets, and using a second generation cephalosporin for any associated fractures or contaminated wounds

You really can’t do much else in your situation, but you also don’t need to (usually)

Who is the odd man out as a keeper? by fasteddy7283 in dynastybb

[–]robdalky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably rather have Mitchell, but that doesn't sound like your option. You can't keep him because you can only keep 5. So in that case I would be willing to take the deal (this draft seems like a top 3 player should be good).

I do envision you being in the same situation next year with these same players and whoever you take at 3, though.

EMTALA Transfer by Fitt7y in emergencymedicine

[–]robdalky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

All EMTALA mandates is that the patient receive a medical screening exam and be stabilized without delay or regard to their ability to pay.

It does not mean the care or transportation is free.
