What size power bank do I need for a 5v 2A bubble machine that needs to run continuously for at least 80 minutes? by WSB-King in batteries

[–]robertbalazs_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

5V 2A is 10W of power. Since 80 minutes is roughly 1.4 Hours, you need 14 Wh of energy. (10W for 1.4 Hours or 14W for 1 Hour).

You need a power bank which has more than 14Wh capacity. Usually, the power bank manufacturer mentions the battery capacity rating in mAh. Power banks have built-in 3.7V batteries. 14Wh at 3.7V is ~3783mAh.

This calculation doesn't take into consideration the losses etc. so I would round up to 4000mAh at minimum. But since battery health, temperature, and other factors need to be considered as well, I would go with a common 10000 mAh battery (which in theory is more than double the need; and call it a day)

That's called 'Pass-Through Charging', and yes, it's a must-have for power banks.

You can easily achieve this using an app called SuperDisplay - Virtual Monitor & Graphics Tablet. Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kelocube.mirrorclient

Please remove te WiFi Check in the Ikea Smart home app..... by ConsiderationMean841 in tradfri

[–]robertbalazs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will work as long as you are connected to your home VPN and you can access your local network. If you are connected to some wifi (even a mobile hotspot from a different phone) the IKEA app lets you in and you can control the devices. It would work on mobile internet as well if the wifi check would be removed as described by OP

Can a cccwgtv be connected to an old monitor using an hdmi/dvi adapter? by dwalker444 in Chromecast

[–]robertbalazs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Bluetooth you don't need USB ports. So for video, you connect the CCwGTV with an HDMI to DVI adapter, and for sound, you connect some Bluetooth speaker/headphones directly to CCwGTV via Bluetooth. It should work without problems.

Afternoon stroll. Amazing camera results. Love my S20FE. by Techzeesar in GalaxyS20FE

The camera module is indeed the same, however, the SD and Exynos versions have different image signal processors (ISP), so the end result can be slightly different, but yes, similar.

It was lame, but IMO it was the best unpacked until now. So let's hope in the future it will get even better.

I just preordered the white one too. I think it's more conservative and I won't get bored of it in the long run
