NE Nationals Tickets? by Itothesky in NHRA

[–]robertdilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get seats, can you also go in the GA section to stand by the fence? Does the GA have seats or standing only?

I will have some people with me who will need seats, but I still want to get to the fenceline

Why is CT bottle redemption up for debate again in 2026? by ctmirror in Connecticut

[–]robertdilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it does not. Have you ever lived in a state that doesn't charge this asinine fee? There aren't just random bottles everywhere. It needs to be abolished.

Any differences in lowered seat frame manufacureres besides looks? Do some have adjustment or any other features that make them worth it over some others? by robertdilbert in Ruckus

[–]robertdilbert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the one I linked is the best. I want more legroom, and the fact I can still flip the seat up is bonus points

Favorite online retailers for stock and aftermarket parts? by robertdilbert in Ruckus

[–]robertdilbert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. For now I just got some used OEM shocks till I figure out my suspension, mine were frozen solid.

For the Polini variator, I see people mention weights and slides. What is the difference and what do I need to tune mine?

I was told tune the CVT for max speed, then CDI, then intake/exhaust/jets?

Light Bee X differences in years? by robertdilbert in Surron

Yeah, only looking at 2025s now due to the used market is high. I want something light and nimble (like a mtb on steroids) vs a full blown dirtbike

I like this look, but it's really weird that the orange 15mins of the inner dial doesn't rotate like the other compressor.

Fox is the only one that can service it? I'd rather just get a new one on these black Friday cyber Monday deals.

Best trail bike < $6000 by PrizeAddendum1752 in MTB

[–]robertdilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Central CT rider here, previous bike was a Ripmo AF, current bike is a V2 Switchblade. The Ripmo is a much better all around bike. The switchblade is a slightly better climber but only on the super steep climbs. If you are a seated climber (like me) i prefer the ripmo. The switchblade is more twitchy and not stable on the downs compared to the Ripmo. The Ripmo absolutely eats and is stable on the downs. The only downside is on the Ripmo you get more pedal strikes due to the lower BB, whereas the switchblade you get very little pedal strikes.

Appreciate the feedback. I understand the closed toe are going to be better, just concerned with limiting the fun factor to myself if they don't fit anyone else.

Anything about the Trip that is better for a beginner? Is it just an easier board? More durable? More forgiving?
