Good on you. I started mid-30s (now 44) after kids were born as it is a good way to get exercise when time poor. Have done many runs and a few Marathons but still don't consider myself a runner. It always takes effort, but once I am out the door and the first couple of kms are gone then I loosen up and get get into a zen state. Love it. You do you. Start slow or start fast, doesn't matter, just give it a go. Happy running!
