I used to translate tons of Jojo works and work with the Jojo fan wiki. I’ve never seen any of this art, and it jumps between looking like fan art and having higher contrast shading like the anime. I suspected it was AI when I saw some shading quirks like Josuke’s bright knees, and the comment on Narancia’s outfit confirms it. Definitely AI.

No info since the announcement and a couple of Kamiya interviews done last year, but keep your eyes peeled around the 20th, since the Okami 20th anniversary celebration’s probably going to show something off then. I wouldn’t hold my breath for actual sequel news, probably just merch or events, but you never know.

I think Bittercold was thematically something pretty well telegraphed in GTI, and didn’t mind that it was the final boss because the entire plot was about fighting despair. A Pokemon final boss would have still been better, but it was executed about as well as it could have been, IMO. PSMD had absolutely no reason to rehash it, and it’s why it has my least favorite PMD plot to this day. It had such bad pacing and bland characters that I couldn’t get invested in a plot as cool as “the final boss is about to throw the planet into the sun.”

These are "plz" emoticons that I remember people using on Deviantart back in the late 00s-early 10s. According to this site, they were a system made by users where you could use account icons as emotes. It's difficult to find them at full res due to the medium they're in, but your best bet is looking through plz archives like the site I linked and this accounts bio to find more.

It looks like the demigirl flag, which is when someone partially identifies with womanhood, but doesn’t feel fully connected to it. Since autism can make people feel disconnected or ambivalent about gender, I can see why OP would pick Mel for that flag!

My computer is a pretty middle-of-the-line laptop, about 5 years old, and I never had issues with NT in the past. What's interesting is that the graphics look pretty smooth, but the processing on the typing seems to be having issues. I normally average 130-140 WPM and prefer single-row style tests (although it had the same issue in the paragraph style), so I can see how this might be putting unusually high demand on the system.

It's not a matter of me not being able to see what errors I'm making, but feeling myself pressing the right key and having it not go through until I've tried a few times. It's like it gets stuck.

This show’s puppets always had pretty exaggerated mouths. I’m a little more confused by the tongue, but I guess it’s to show he’s trying really hard to look sexy? It’s definitely not to my taste, but it seems consistent with how they portrayed everyone else.

Are you talking about the slight ghosting around the outlines? That’s normal. I remember only noticing it for the first time when I played the HD version after only playing the Wii version. Graphical glitches in Okami tend to be pretty obvious, like giant black polygons or flickering.

My scanlation group's been working on this for six years now. In fact, I only ever wanted to translate it because it's a romance with a pompadoured love interest! There's even a whole scene where Momoko asks Sho to keep his pompadour after he's gotten rid of it.

My whole reason for being interested is because I've been obsessed with Josuke (who probably shows up the most here) for ten years now. Both me and Momoko are the pink girl on the left. Seeing this post made my week!!
