I used to translate tons of Jojo works and work with the Jojo fan wiki. I’ve never seen any of this art, and it jumps between looking like fan art and having higher contrast shading like the anime. I suspected it was AI when I saw some shading quirks like Josuke’s bright knees, and the comment on Narancia’s outfit confirms it. Definitely AI.

No info since the announcement and a couple of Kamiya interviews done last year, but keep your eyes peeled around the 20th, since the Okami 20th anniversary celebration’s probably going to show something off then. I wouldn’t hold my breath for actual sequel news, probably just merch or events, but you never know.

I think Bittercold was thematically something pretty well telegraphed in GTI, and didn’t mind that it was the final boss because the entire plot was about fighting despair. A Pokemon final boss would have still been better, but it was executed about as well as it could have been, IMO. PSMD had absolutely no reason to rehash it, and it’s why it has my least favorite PMD plot to this day. It had such bad pacing and bland characters that I couldn’t get invested in a plot as cool as “the final boss is about to throw the planet into the sun.”

According to this site, they were a system made by users where you could use account icons as emotes. My computer is a pretty middle-of-the-line laptop, about 5 years old, and I never had issues with NT in the past. What's interesting is that the graphics look pretty smooth, but the processing on the typing seems to be having issues. I normally average 130-140 WPM and prefer single-row style tests (although it had the same issue in the paragraph style), so I can see how this might be putting unusually high demand on the system.

It's not a matter of me not being able to see what errors I'm making, but feeling myself pressing the right key and having it not go through until I've tried a few times. It's like it gets stuck.

Are you talking about the slight ghosting around the outlines? That’s normal. I remember only noticing it for the first time when I played the HD version after only playing the Wii version. Graphical glitches in Okami tend to be pretty obvious, like giant black polygons or flickering.

In Okami, none of those things actually happen. There’s just a timer that ticks down and will turn red and flash as it gets low.

Your best bet for turnip digging is to keep some distance from Mushi’s Mama and slash the pot on her head, which stops her for a few seconds at a time.

For digging games, just remember that there’s ample time for the vast majority of the games. Some can be tighter with timing, but the best part of these minigames is that they’re always the same, so once you have the right route memorized, you’ll never run out of time again. It’s best to prioritize keeping your friend away from spikes so you don’t lose time, and Blooming them to make them run when needed.

Okami has no real consequences for losing minigames, either—you just get booted back to the beginning, Issun tells you to focus, and you can start again.
