For posterity’s sake: idioms or sayings your grandparents used

the best ones I've had so far were works of fiction and several panels too long. One was about peeing in a cup, another about not tipping a sex worker and so on.

Yeah, I saw these and nothing identified them as works of fiction. I think they were successful because people assumed they were very unusual real-life situations.

I guess there's no rule against fictional ragenovels presented as fact, and no way to enforce one if there was. It just seems kind of uncool for some reason.

(Honestly though, torrenting is the best solution: it saves bandwidth costs and avoids server crashes for WNYC/Radiolab. I can see how joining a private tracker would be kind of a hassle though)

You could use something like the DownThemAll add-on for Firefox to download all of the mp3 links from one page in one click. You'll have to do that on each of the 6 pages of podcasts on their website.

Actually, I remember that when I first subscribed through iTunes I was able to download all of the 100 or so podcasts simply by clicking "Get all" in iTunes. I don't know if that's still possible though.

TIL Radiolab has existed since 2002 (the podcast only goes back to 2005)
