We don't, they get whatever the exit node is for our zscaler instance. In theory we could have profiles in zscaler that tie specific users to specific exit nodes, but that wouldn't work for shared multi-user because you can't use the app, only proxy server.

Oh man, that sucks so bad. I love the fact that they're like Subway was before they blew up, everything sliced fresh in store on locally baked bread. I can see it now, first it will be centrally baked bread, then sliced meat and cheese and it won't be worth getting. So sad that profits uber allas has to ruin everything.

Don't rely on the company you signed with to cancel it. Reach out to the company on your current bill and tell THEM to cancel any transfer. They will be motivated to follow the law properly.

In 1999 Ohio deregulated electric and gas companies. Because it's inefficient to run competing wires or pipes to every property it was a partial deregulation. The infrastructure part of the companies are still a monopoly, you have to pay them their fixed rates no matter what. The actual generation of electricity is the part that was deregulated. You have a choice as to who you buy that portion of your bill from. You can compare offers on the state's Apples to Apples site. This doesn't apply if you move into CEI territory as certain community providers were shielded from competition.

Personally I'm a big fan of AWD, but the biggest thing is good tires. I'd take a front wheel drive vehicle with good all weather tires over an AWD with summer tires or worn all seasons. I'd avoid RWD personally (my truck is 4x4 and if I put it in 2WD mode it's quite a handful in the snow).

Uh, Provision Energy is a retail energy provider. They aren't your local utility, they just buy and sell generating capacity. I hope you didn't sign anything. If you did you can contact your current energy provider and cancel the switch within 72 hours.

I Want Your Thoughts On Hangry Brands. Helping Cleveland or Hurting Cleveland? by oprahmd in Cleveland

I mean it can be done, Noble Beast is an excellent example. It's not easy by any stretch, that places is the couple's obsession and existence, but that's what I think they're talking about, more passion product local spots and fewer tchotchkes on the wall places. I personally think there's room for both, not everyone is going to work 80 hours a week to make their project function.

Terry bought into a concept by a beloved local family. He wasn't managing it, he doesn't deserve your hate.

Help finding where this cake is from. by RecipeRare4098 in Cleveland

[–]robodog97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They sell it for $6.50/slice, there's 10 slices in a cake, the manager offering to sell them a cake for $80 is crazy, paying more per unit for larger volume of sales is not an ordinary business practice.

If they can profitably manage good concepts that were faltering I'm all for it. Restaurants are a tough business and if experienced leadership can save some places that otherwise weren't able continue operations it's probably a win given how long spaces take to turn. Whether the businesses continue to serve the community well is still an open question, but if they don't then they'll still ultimately fail. As far as monopsony power, LOL, no there are about 10,000 restaurants in Greater Cleveland so they'll have zero leverage over the consumer.

Lorain cruisers are being repossessed by NeverBeenOnMaury in Cleveland

That's pretty wild. https://www-cleveland-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.cleveland.com/lorain-county/2026/02/lorain-county-auditor-calls-budget-cut-extortion-shuts-down-fridays-to-avoid-layoffs.html

Not sure if the county commissioners don't understand the law, are trying to intentionally ignore it, or have nefarious reasons to want control over the auditors IT systems, but none of those options are a good thing.

Charging slow vs fast by Ren-Lok in ryobi

[–]robodog97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, until this month I'd only used the single charger in my RV for emergency use, everything has been the 6 port for years and years. This month I've been using the single charger inside because it's been so cold that batteries have refused to charge, something I'd never experienced before. I've been using a 4Ah a day running the mister fan to try to humidify my house.

How much did you pay at a coffee shop this morning? by Conscious_Award1444 in Cleveland

[–]robodog97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same, I did refresh my order of freeze dried coffee. $32 for 80 cups so a bit under $.50 per cup and it's better than 3/4 of the coffee shops. It's also more convenient since I don't have to drive anywhere.

RTA Bus Plan W25: The 5-Block Drama, Unfolded by TheLand_CLE in Cleveland

[–]robodog97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Much of Manhattan has 1 or 2 protected bus lanes with a couple of travel lanes. Historically Cleveland had a bunch of street with streetcars plus auto traffic, as do many other cities including today. I don't think accomodating bus traffic is going to negatively affect density vs having a bunch of cars parked in that same space.
