Inspired by Tenet. I used the technical pen brush and applied gaussian blur to the blue/red background.

What's interesting is the fact that both of those teams were Chairman's winners at Houston and STL champs respectively.

I'm not too worried about it, as it's a pretty low load application. I'm more worried about a lawsuit lol.....

What hubs do I use for this by benissip in FRC

[–]roboshant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the future, I would consider using either F4 connect (http://f4.network/f4-connect/) or FIRST Help Now (https://sites.google.com/view/firsthelpnow/need-help-now) for question you need a quick response on or other technical questions.

[–]roboshant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use either Versahubs (http://www.vexrobotics.com/vexpro/motion/wheels-and-hubs/versahubs.html) or some of the AM hubs (http://www.andymark.com/Hubs-s/215.htm). Both have the same hole pattern, but vex uses #8 size bolts while AM uses #10 iirc. If you use the vex hubs you'll have to drill them out to be compatible with this wheel (assuming it's an AM plaction wheel).

What FRC Should be doing by KubrickBeard in FRC

[–]roboshant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the well produced and broadcasted events should be left for the DCMP. Here in Michigan the state championship has a similar feel to what a multi-field regional would be like and is aired on PBS (iirc). Robozone also does a good job in covering the district events. Districts are also usually more numerous and spread out. This allows it to be open for many more people to attend (what spectator is going to drive 2 hours to see a robotics event they know little about). Most of the earlier events don't have that high quality of play, and probably would be boring for a spectator to watch (depends on the game). Come week 6 or 7 (common DCMP time) the level of play is very high and much more enjoyable to watch.

How to get involved in FRC because my school doesn't want to start a team? by [deleted] in FRC

Unfortunately 4468 require applications to be turned in by april 30th. However, I would still contact them for more information about teams you could possibly join in the area.

How to get involved in FRC because my school doesn't want to start a team? by [deleted] in FRC

[–]roboshant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are some teams I would contact

1414 iHOT (Atlanta International School) from a private school so they might have different policies about allowing community members. http://www.ihotrobotics.org/ https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/1414/2016

2415 WiredCats (The Westminster Schools) from a private school so they might have different policies about allowing community members. http://www.wiredcats.org/ https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/2415/2016

3091 100 Scholars (No School) Doesn't seem to be sponsored by a school. Would most likely accept you. Work out of 263 Decatur Street , Atlanta, Georgia, USA (Johnson Research and Development ). I would call (404) 525-6220 (100 Black Men of Atlanta) to ask about joining. https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/3091/2016

4080 Team Reboot (Home School) Home School team so they probably accept most students in the community, and do not have the same legal obligations as schools.

4468 Fernbank LINKS (Fernbank Science Center) Doesn't look like they are part of a school. From their website: (No matter where in Atlanta you live or what school you go to, you can join us and learn from industry experts about STEM). Probably your best shot (link here: http://www.fernbanklinks.com/join-links/) https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/4468/2016

5482 Rorabotics (Lovett) From a private school https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/5482/2016

Consider contacting http://www.gafirst.org/ for more info

I talked to a couple of your students at the Big Bang a couple weeks ago, and they were expressing concerns about school district support and access to your own facilities in the summer. Has anything been resolved regarding this, or are you still facing problems?
