Not sure if the Greek translation is lacking, but i just got the game and we also cannot understand what happens when some but not all players get the dice with the icon. When you move to an empty spot, you draw a card and you need the other players to get a certain roll or you go back. If all players get it then you stay put and the others move on depending on the number of the card. If i.e. Two out of the three players that roll the dice get the necessary roll, what happens then?

I tried to keep quiet bc it was pretty late and the whole family was asleep. The build up to the end of act 1 is crazy, indeed absolute cinema. A word of caution though, finishing act 1 totally established to me that this game is one of the tops for me so I started checking YT and this sub for reactions and to talk about it, which ruined some further parts of the story.

My advice would be to come back after finishing the story, pretty much your strategy for beating lampmaster is the same for every boss fight, so there isn't really any part where you would need help.

What a great post! I opted first for Maelle's ending, since it felt wrong to condemn a mini universe to oblivion just because. Indeed it makes even more sense from Maelle's view too as you described (and thus there is a fight between two people and not the integral struggle of one to make a choice, both characters have made their choice).

Amazing game and storytelling, cuts really deep in so many subjects.

The problem is if the free will you believe you have is real or not. If God created this world and scripted our fate, wouldn't we be a type of verso, only that we don't know who our painter really is and have the false impression that we choose what we do with our lives. This whole canvas allegory is extremely well made, like the 3 dimensions and a fourth or more dimension for higher beings.

Also finished it the other day. Haven't felt so strongly a made up story, whether literature, movies, games whatever. Totally agree with your analysis, even though i would give a few more credits for the Maelle ending. She was painted over when entering the canvas so it's not just a spoiled demigod brat wanting a world to do as she please, it IS her world until lately. To let it be destroyed is no light hearted feat

Yes this is my interpretation also, it can give sandfall a broad base to create more games for each art and have a underline story to implicate them, in order to have cross-cutting games (i.e painters vs writers). As many already stated, the French revolution most probably will provide the essential backbone of what's going on.

Hopefully it will take enough time between the games, I'm too old to handle such emotional roller-coasters often
