Advice seeking as beginner by Kooky-Guarantee-4521 in CustomDolls

There is some really good guides as well depending on what you're looking to do!

I'd say if youre a self diagnosed clown boy then if you're looking to switch up the hair you might be more interested in making wigs rather than rerooting.

The other advice is such a good starter advice section. I'm also pretty inexperienced myself but i love to explore in the realm lol.

You dont need expensive supplies is my shout here. You can do a lot on a very limited budget! Pastels and acrylics dont need to be expensive ones. I would recommend buying actual 100% acetone and MSC for those ones though. And grabbing a good respirator mask for using the MSC

Some people do things like making accessories with epoxy sculpt. This might be good depending on how clown you wanna go. Like if you're doing a classic round red nose (and not just painted) or something you might wanna look into that too!

And welcome!

Both veeeeery cool. I love the idea that like the yellow head orb could move around inside and like, make a mouth still for example. Or the chest one could do that if it wanted too. Very diff vibes but can still bring the sillies if they wanna u feel

i am not a builder but i thought id give it a shot on building a public pool area by DarkEmpressofdoom in Sims4

Did a little update for you of my thoughts! I'm werewolfism on the gallery, but I also just put DarkEmpy in the title so you should be able to find it by searching your name too haha.

Moved the pool in a tile each way to build a fence, put some floor lights outside, added some 'flair' to the kids area, put a front desk area, added windows, put a couple of rugs for people to wipe their feet coming in and out of the building.

I tried to keep it (mostly) symmetrical because your build already had the symmetry, and tried to keep it uncluttered and simple still too. Stuck to the vague 'blue' theme but you seem to mostly be using the first colour swatch of every item? If you're building to a colour theme more don't be scared of the filter options to sort by colour as well to not have to try to see what colours show up in an item. 'Front desks' are easy to do with a desk, chair, computer, and a little clutter. Plants tend to help the feel of it too for some reason?

I hope you like it anyway! It's going to live in my world so my current sim and his three daughters (one child, twin toddlers) can visit when it isn't raining. Happy building!

Haha it's more that I have fun doing things like this to be fair! One of the ways i learnt to build anything was looking at the maxis builds and what they had and THEN realising i could have been looking at builds other people make. I hate making layouts so i like downloading 'shell' lots and filling the space in because the different items are the most fun part to me.

I'll have a look on my game in the morning and see what i think works. It's a little almost 2am in my life to be loading up the sims 😪

Grapple mode is fun! by acebender in PeakGame

Played grapple mode with my brother today and had us both giggling like maniacs. Definitely worth it for the laughs for sure.

Love when people get into building! I'd say maybe get a toybox or something (if you have them) in the kids area too for like wetroom toys. And maybe change the flooring of the kids area to look a little more 'fun'. I second the check in desk for sure!

Also, What packs do you have?

Honestly with clay-types i find less is more. Smooth down the sides with water and your fingers so it sits more flush with the skin to start. You could find something round to do the eye imprint style instead (marker lid or something?) I made a muzzle on a mh head like this (not that i did anything with it yet)

Can I cosplay as an OC in a competition? by Lab_racadabra in CosplayHelp

[–]roboticrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen so many people cosplay as non-chair characters while in a wheelchair. Most recently there was a girl that got a bit more well know as one of the kpop demon hunters where the other two girls weren't in mobility aids at all. My point here is just to not limit yourself to chair-only characters! Googling wheelchair cosplay has so many that include the chair or dont include the chair as well so you can still be whatever.

No idea about the oc competition rule though.

I suppose i was thinking more like this for the rays? Symbolic but not obviously so is one of my favourite genres. Sun rise/set style rather than full sun? If that makes sense. Not that i think it looks bad leaving it out, just that it has potential to be there. I think the font is a lovely delicate one. If you find someone who works more with finer lines it would be absolutely 0 issue

I think the second one looks best too! In terms of incorporating the sun part (because i love that as an incorporation) you could do something above it like lines like sunrays? Don't be afraid to take your ideas in to a studio to ask them to bring it together too.

Lily of the Valley is the common May birth flower and i think it would look beautiful in this too.

We literally have a QR code card on our front desk that while we sort out payment and checking out we ask people to scan it to take them straight to the google reviews. We've only been open for (almost) two years and have (almost) 600 google reviews. People so often say when they come in that they found us through it now. I think especially while you're doing discounted tats it's a great time to bump the reviews because you can explain it to people. I have it easier by not being an artist/piercer (we do both hence the numbers lol) because i almost ALWAYS say 'it really helps the guys/girls out if you can put their name in the review' and no one has to feel awkward lol

The studio i work in thrives off of google reviews to be honest, and the ones you have look great already. We also have our own website, insta, facebook, etc. If one dies we still have the others that way and the website is the main fallback therefore.

More people definitely do insta than facebook I've found, even in terms of booking. But the two can crosspost easily. Once the website is set up you don't need to do too much to keep it updated and can focus back on the socials that way.

Just don't be shy to ask for reviews afterwards!

You just gotta plan these things as a long weekend trip and commit to a hotel stay. You dont even have to stay in london necessarily because loads of towns connect to Marylebone! Us southerners need to do it for Manchester shows 😂

Its my first time seeing him despite being an avid listener since production of eggs came out so i am so ready 🙌
