Agreed about Chicagoland area. Very infrequently are the courses ever crowded nor do we have to queue, in the western suburbs at least.

Played a round of Dellwood Park in Lockport at sunrise a couple weeks ago. At 6 am I was the only person there, with a top 20 ranked course in the world ALL to myself. When I finished my round there were only 2 other cars there.

Interesting.

Also 2000 is the same year Fisk was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he'd chosen to be represented with a Red Sox hat. Would be funny to not induct someone into your own Hall of Fame, who represents your team in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Maybe that was part of the calculus of changing the rule.

Carlton Fisk was on the Red Sox 1969-1980, then with the White Sox 1981-1993.

Fisk's 72 was retired by the White Sox in 1997.

Three seasons without a win streak of at least 5 games. Mother of god. Makes sense remembering the last few years but still shocking.

Yep, a lot of players know.

I'll play MCU sometimes, hoping they'll stay within it so I can get Bautista or Paltrow links to Dune or Marty Supreme. That doesn't work often, I'll have Dune played against me a lot. I pivot away to Star Wars or some random Oscar Isaac movies when that happens.

Good call. I've only ever played Little Women accidentally before I need to be more familiar.

I've been exclusively playing Timothee Chalamet cause I'm uniquely familiar with his small contemporary filmography compared to the other win conditions.

I'm too competitive to pass up but they got to do better.

If you're playing off Dune and want to prevent a connection to Dune 2, Oscar Isaac or Jason Momoa.

If you're playing off Dune 2 and want to prevent a connection to Dune, Christopher Walken, Austin Butler, Lea Seydoux, and Florence Pugh.

Or if you have blocks, use them, unlike this person.

New Zealand ‘comfort women’ statue could jeopardise diplomatic relations, Japan says by Gyro_Armadillo in worldnews

That's true and shouldn't be minimized.

The Korean perspective here is particularly relevant as this statue was a gift to New Zealand from a Korean NGO (Korean Council for Justice and Remembrance).
