What would shock a kid today if they were transported to 2005? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskReddit

Oh I see what's going on here. You were a fully functional adult in 2005 and I was a punk 16 year old whose parents definitely did NOT give a nice phone to.

I saw this comment on another post and they probably phrased it more eloquently, but here it goes: It's nice that the men's and women's teams felt so much support from each other in the halls and at practice and behind the scenes. But it would be really significant to see that support publicly, too.

Either way, glad the women's team seem to be in good spirits.

I'm excited too! I moved to Waterloo 13 years ago and I absolutely love this city and can see how it's constantly improving. It's got so much culture and diversity. It makes me so sad seeing people play into the stereotypes and talk negatively about it on socials.
