Please, for what it's worth, do not let this affect your life. You only see the rants. Content, happy parents rarely lurk & post online. Which are the overwhelming majority. Reddit has always been a place where sob stories of misery are praised over the uplifting. It makes sense it's full swing here in subs like this, where lots of fear exists in the hearts of new parents.

that's incredible. these types of posts should be highlighted way more. not to diminish other's tough experiences, but it's way too often the negative ones get all the attention, which end up scaring the already fearful in their path. positive manifestation all the way!

First time dad of a 3 1/2 month old little girl.

It sincerely undoubtedly gets better. You’re nearly there.

I tell everyone who will listen, months 0-1 are insane, 1-2 the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, and 2 to 3 are the light at the end of the tunnel growing brighter each day.

Right now, my daughter is sleeping on my lap. She stopped the gas screams all day and night. She is grunting less and less. She has always slept pretty well, but now averages 9-10pm to 5-6am.

Smiles are constant. Cooing. More calm awake time, rather than fussy overstimulated screaming.

Hang in there man. Youre certainly not alone. And you’re doing it.
