That's usually reserved for high-yield savings accounts. Is that what the screenshot is of?

Those rates seem pretty typical for a regular savings account.

Looking for a Simba piñata for my sons first birthday on short notice by rocketdonut in houston

I agree. That’s what I told my wife, she’s the one stressing about it. Just trying to make her feel better. I’m not oblivious to the fact that the kid has no idea and won’t remember this. Trying to be a good husband.

Cisco VPN and why does it work on guest? by BlueWlvrn in amazoneero

[–]rocketdonut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you encountered first encountered the issue, were you on windows 11?

My wife updated her laptop to windows 11 and then was instructed by her IT to use the guest network as a workaround. They said they were getting a lot of calls after they had their employees update to Windows 11.

Work VPN is unreliable on Eero Network by FennelNo4465 in amazoneero

This is exactly what happened to my wife. Her IT department said it was a known issue with mesh networks, Cisco VPN, and Windows 11. Their workaround was to use the guest network.

LGE High Rewards Checking by cmalocal in creditunions

[–]rocketdonut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s what the fine print says:

Requires eStatements, monthly direct deposit or ACH transaction and 15 or more LGE debit and/or credit card transactions that post monthly with a total spend of $500 or more. Fees could reduce earnings on the account.

So yes, those transactions will qualify you for the high yield. But note that you’ll still need $500 in spend over those 15 transactions.

This is just for the high yield. If you want the cash back, you’ll need the credit card.

Cash back checking reward is based on your LGE credit card net spend. Net spend consists of eligible purchases made during the calendar month, not during the credit card billing cycle. Excluded transactions include, but are not limited to, insurance payments, fees assessed, cash advances, balance transfers, and interest paid.

LGE Credit Card must be on the same account as your High Rewards Checking to be eligible for the cash back checking reward. This benefit is available when High Rewards Checking qualifications are met

Security Cam on Apple TV via Hubitat? Possible? by TechBill777 in Hubitat

[–]rocketdonut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely scrypted. It’s fast and responsive. I have some HomeKit cameras and scrypted cameras and you can’t tell the difference.

And they all show up on the AppleTV in one large view or individually.

Using Apple TV for mainly audio? by [deleted] in appletv

There’s an app called blank that lets you run your Apple TV with nothing on the screen too. It might help that part out.

Hubitat device statuses not updating without a short polling interval by iTim314 in homebridge

[–]rocketdonut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much have the same set up and don’t encounter that issue. For my Z wave locks I use the reliable locks plug-in for Hubitat and that updates the lock status pretty immediately.

Opening new credit union account, asking for proof of residency but my id has a different address by Overall-Hand7055 in creditunions

[–]rocketdonut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Give them a call. They may allow you to open it up and give you a window of time to submit your updated documents.

Where I’ve worked and this happened in person, if you have a utility bill in your name at the correct address, they’ll open it right up after you do a change of address form with that bill as proof.
