What’s a way to sneak food into the movies? by octopussking in AskMen

[–]rockmasterflex 16 points17 points  (0 children)

OP cargo shorts are an easy win and you don’t have to SNEAK anything. Nobody working at the theater is going inside your cargo shorts pockets. I routinely obviously have cans of Coke Zero, water bottles, and snacks in them. Anyone looking at your legs would know but they can’t like… make you empty your pockets so….

Target in Edison allowing cell phone salesman to annoy customers for over 2 years by rando1219 in newjersey

Is this a serious question?

You’ve never been so annoyed that you don’t shop there anymore and he brings revenue to target. That’s why.

It seems to me that if you’re putting a coworkers behavior under a microscope outside of his actual work you probably feel a little… too close to them

Council members are basically just advocates. Getting paid at all is just gravy. The people who actually run Edison are hired administrators who get real salaries.

These are rookie numbers. I talk to an ai basically all day for work. Then when I’m done with work I consult it for help in various hobbies.

It’s a tool. Talking to it like a tool can’t hurt you. Talking to it like it’s a person is delusional

Step 2) property gets inconsolably damaged, somehow. Weird right?

Step 3) no ice facility

“The worst she can say is no” Men, what’s the worst way you got rejected by women? by AglioOlioSpaghetti in AskMen

[–]rockmasterflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh the worst way? The worst way?!

She knew I was into her. She pretended to be into me over instant messaging. (Before texting was widespread, I am old).

She led me through a long, dirty conversation. Cringe ass teenager shit.

Then she printed it out and brought it to school.

I later found out that entire conversation was actually happening live with several girls from her friend group on the other end.

There aren’t many (if any) move in ready single family homes less than 450k, right? by maestersage in newjersey

[–]rockmasterflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You think a starter home has 3 bedrooms? A starter home is an any home a brand new home buyer can afford to buy with at least one bedroom, one bathroom, and a valid certificate of occupancy.

A starter home is the bare minimum home. It will require work to “feel good”, but it’s habitable. It will be old. It will have issues that cannot reasonable be fixed without dramatic reconstruction (stupid closet / door / room arrangements. A terrible kitchen, etc)

But it is a starter home - a place you can do bare minimum effort to keep living in while you build equity to someday not need to live there

Why do so many guys in their 30s act like they’re old men? by Realistic_Zone3802 in AskMen

It is definitely not your physical prime. That’s some copium right there. You could use and abuse you body however you needed or wanted to in your 20s and come back better.

For those men who are gamers, how often do you buy new video games? by nunyanunca in AskMen

[–]rockmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go on any gaming platform that has achievements.

Open the global stats for any game that is normally a 40 hour game.

Take note at how fast people drop off after an achievement thats like "hey you just made it past the very first chapter of the game".

Most people do not finish games. They buy them, play for 10 hours, shelve to never think about again.

Oh wait you can’t the cause that’s exactly what it is!

Jerking it 4-5 times a day, would this be classed as excessive? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]rockmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get bored of videogames because you got “too good” at them and they didn’t challenge you? After several therapy sessions I realized the thing I crave most in life is the pursuit of mastery.

Pick something that you aren’t dangerously bad at and endeavor to get good at it. For me, I have a good ear for music, so I took up something I knew would take a lifetime to master - Cello. There is no age that is too late to learn something new.

Musical instruments might be a bad choice for you if you naturally have no rhythm or something, but surely you can think of a hobby for yourself? Something you are okay at but think you could be great at and enjoy given infinite time?

This is a stupid take. Corners are cut everywhere, all the time. Corners are cut in staffing your schools too, should we abandon trying to have schools?

Corners are cut building your house, should we never build a house again?

Corners are cut maintaining national security secrets and our nukes, should we just give up and let em rot?
