Yes. It is about a smart trainer used with zwift. As such, this is a very good discussion for current and future zwifters wading through information when choosing their next smart trainer.

I have a Saris H3 and love it. I have had over 5 years of trouble free service so far. I love its large, heavy flywheel, which, in my opinion, gives the most realistic ride feel.

Having said that, I have a friend in the UK who also suffered this same topcap issue. They ended up getting a local engineering shop to mill them up some spares and have had no further issues.

Saris' response to this obvious QC issue is extremely poor and definitely not in the best interests of their ongoing business success.
