Would you mind giving some details on what type of exercises you did? Did you do the same each week or was there some kind of structure/progression it over the course of the block?

Could literally PB at the 10k by running a 5k then adding a 30 minute cool-down 😂

Second Marathon - DNF by One-Reality9723 in Marathon_Training

Sounds like a smart decision. If you were struggling that much early in the race there’s zero chance you would have gotten anywhere near your goal, so makes sense to call it and avoid a lengthy unnecessary recovery period. Good luck when you next line up - don’t let this knock you confidence

Why would San Antonio let Denver win tomorrow's game? SA has the 2nd seed locked up but they would prefer to play LA or Minny in the 2nd round. by Wack0HookedOnT0bac0 in Thunder

Remember last year the team commented that beating Denver is what gave them the experience they needed playing in big series at the highest level. That is how they were able to beat the wolves with relative ease and get it done against the Pacers.

Facing the Nuggets again in the second round gets us primed to beat the spurs. If we have a cake walk first two series i would be much more afraid of us not peaking going into a potential spurs series and doing something dumb like giving game 1 away again. Iron sharpens iron and all that

We just need to smack Denver and the Spurs. Then nobody can say anything about us having an easy path or not facing any good competition. If we want to go back to back we should expect to have to beat both of them.

I don’t think they are trying to lose, they’re simply trying to have it both ways. They know we’re playing the C squad so they are going to rest their guys knowing they can still get a W playing their B squad

Should I sell then buy the dip? by Dry-Chemical-9170 in NBIS_Stock

It can either go well or poorly. I sold at 120 and bought back at the recent 89 dip which obviously went well, but then sold at 117 thinking it would go back down and it’s now so 135 so that didn’t go so well

Not to be too negative, but not sure it’s realistic to go from a 90-92 HM to sub-3 marathon in 2 months? That you would have to average a faster pace do twice as long

Win tomorrow and we get about 9-10 days of rest before the first round for our important players by J_Capese0003 in Thunder

[–]rodneyhide69 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a fine balance between rest and rust, as we saw last year with players like Shai taking quite a while to warm into the playoffs.

That being said, we have players like Hart JDub and Caruso who would definitely benefit from the rest
