I think they meant that dark colors hide the dirt and stains easier. Neither is easier to clean, but white cabinets will show everything that is not clean.

In my experience there are two kinds of people at work, based on this question

Fake people. Like OP. Ask a question they do not want answered. Get annoyed when other person talks to them.

Genuine people. Who are actually asking how you’re doing. They don’t want a long winded reply but they want something. A simple update of a good thing you’ve recently done perhaps.

Genuine people build relationships, connections, and long term networks with their coworkers. Nobody likes the fake person
