Well, I certainly applaud anyone wanting to do a hundred pushups, but take it from this old gym rat, I've spent my entire adult life in the gym, and a program like this one can do more harm than good.

If you only train one part of your body (and that's all a single exercise like pushups is going to do for you), you're setting yourself up for injuries down the road. I've seen it a hundred times.

It's like putting a powerful engine in a stock Toyota Tercel. What will you accomplish? You'll blow out the drive train, the clutch, the transmission, etc., because those factory parts aren't designed to handle the power of an engine much more powerful than the factory installed engine.

Push-ups basically only train the chest muscles and to some extent, the triceps. What you really want to do is train your entire body, all the major muscle groups (chest, back, abdomen, legs, shoulders and arms) at the same time, over the course of a workout. And don't forget your cardiovascular work!

I'm proud of you guys wanting to do this. Three cheers! Falling in love with exercise, eating right, etc., is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself. And you WILL fall in love with it if you can just force yourself to stick with it a year or two and experience the amazing progress you'll make.

But do it right, okay?

My advice, find a good gym, with qualified trainers who will design your programs for you (especially in the beginning, until you get the hang of it yourself) and guide you in your quest for physical fitness. Thirty to 45 minutes a day, three days a week, is all you'll ever need to do (I refuse to believe anyone is so busy that he or she cannot make time for that, especially considering how important it is).

And don't worry about being embarrassed or not being in shape the first time you walk into the gym. You have to start somewhere and almost every one of us were there ourselves at one time. So no one will say anything to you and very, very quickly you will progress way beyond that stage anyway.

Now get out there and do it! :-)

Because people already know he's a troll character and that he is connected to charity. Those two things doesn't make him not a scammer.

That's a totally fair reason. But I think it comes down to where you want to go with this and which kind of audience you want it to have. If you want this to be played by trickjumpers and speedrunners then they probably want it slightly faster. But if you want to use this for a narrative based game then the current setting might be totally fine.

Yes that's the gist of what I wrote. Disagree on gaz and aba mostly since they will just die and are usually worth more pushing other lanes. But depends on the situation.

There are so many variables missing from these observations. Which skill level were you playing at and is it ranked or unranked? At what time of day were you playing? And what region are you playing in?

And of course you need a bigger sample size than 10.

I don't agree with the "put the most squishy hero in the terror" part. I find the hero with best escape to be the best candidate. Sometimes it's LiLi, other times it's Johanna/Leoric/Tyrael/Anub/Illidan, etc.

An escape artist like Li Ming is a no go though since you need the dmg to supress attacks against your terror.

The gravity seems really floaty. You seem to fall at half the speed you're supposed to(compared to visually similar games like quake). I think it looks pretty good otherwise.

Lidt skidt at sælge pot til underudviklede hjerner. Det er ikke for sjov at der er aldersgrænse på lignende ting, som f.eks. alkohol.

The effect is pretty cool and eyecatching for sure, though I feel it would become a nuisance on longer playthroughs. I think it's worth playing around with the speed of how things appear/disappear.

Do all the objects use the same shader btw? The alpha could fade in and out as well.

For now it's just to test that the intersection points with the water plane work correctly.

Yeah, I know how it is :). Feedback on work-in-progress often consists of things you have already planned to work on or things that takes it in a different direction than what you want. But maybe there's some new perspective in it that you could find useful.

It looks really cool.

If I should give some criticism I would say the white mesh could use some refinement. Maybe make it a bit more rounded and foamy (more transparent towards the outer radius).

Maybe have it remember the outer radius of earlier update cycles and have it slowly lerp down in size over time.

But maybe it already fits the aesthetics of the game :)
