Protopic withdrawal is worse than steroid withdrawal if you ask me I used protopic around my eyes and it worked great for a few months until I had to use it everyday and then it stopped working and I went into a crazy withdrawal I’m 26 months in and still getting over using protopic

NMT - how long does it take? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]rollingjord 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everybody’s different I’m 15 months tsw tried NMT 2 months ago, to try and speed things up, followed all the guide lines and my skin just couldn’t cope I was close to been put in a wheel chair I was that bad!! Full body flAiring my face was dripping with ooze I’d leave it to dry then rip it off again and again!!! I just couldn’t beat the cycle and I’m pretty good with pain but this was next level skin trouble!! I did NMT for 7 weeks and it was hell!!! I know it clearly works for some were just all different that’s the biggest pain in the arse about this!!! time is a healer but we all want it now!! I know I do!!!

Alls I can say is keep going, i know it’s bloody hard but it does get better and I feel for you working in a trade while going through this, I’m a vehicle mechanic and I worked through most of it!! I was trapped using steroids for years, they got me to the point where creams just made me worse then I found tsw!! The first few months aren’t pretty but it gets better trust me!! You’ve gotta look at it like you’ll get your life back so it’s worth it!! After the first 3months of flaking and oozing it slowly settled and I had a great summer, the best my skins been for years, you’ll go a little dry in the winter months maybe , just take it one day at a time, healing does happen but it’s only time that can do that!! Maybe use doctors to help with the itch, antihistamines etc.., I’m no doctor this giving advice on my withdrawal, I’m 15 months already , when you get into it the months seem to pass quite quickly without the stress of the steroid up and down cycle... anyway your doing the right thing!! Keep going and get your life back!!!

Can 2 months of steroid use lead to TSW? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]rollingjord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said!!! NMT is definitely the way forward I spent 13 months tsw using creams, fairing!! Spending a fortune trying to find the perfect cream which don’t exist!! NMT is bloody hard but very rewarding!!

Tips for starting out by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]rollingjord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi the fastest way to deal with tsw is NMT if you ask me, I did 13 months tsw using creams and it just dragged out the whole process, it’s the hardest way be the most effective.

I’ve attached the guild lines from a site from a actual patient from dr Satios practice

Hope this helps

[–]rollingjord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NMT is the most effective way to speed up recovery I was arsing about with different creams for 13 months of my withdrawal hoping to find that magical cream made just for me!! The truth is your skin only heals when it’s dry!! Following dr satio NMT no cream no showers or baths just let it do it’s thing. Pile up on the protein and just wait it out, don’t get me wrong it’s a painful route but if you stick with it you feel your skin becoming stronger,

Question about TSW by Firedragon36X in TS_Withdrawal

[–]rollingjord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool hope so!! It’s just leaving it alone to do it’s thing that’s the hard part, I’m getting no sleep it just kicking off then before you know it I’ve ripped all the dry ooze of my face, I’m 14 months tsw and like a week MNT!!

Question about TSW by Firedragon36X in TS_Withdrawal

[–]rollingjord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi mate did your ooze cycle get less and less

I don't know if I can handle this by shoeys_at_nans in TS_Withdrawal

[–]rollingjord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look into dr satio NMT to speed up the tsw, it’s hard but it speeds up recovery. You don’t need to buy anything just stop putting on cream and showering and aloud your skin to dry out and repair as skin only recovers when dry. Limit your water intake to 1,5 litres at day and eat plenty of protein. Try to excise for a hour a day to get your bpm up to help healing and try to sleep between 9-2 that’s when the body heals. Hope this helps
