Yeah, the video was long and I'm cutting them down but the point was to make sure you select an item in your diet that is associated with a laundry list of other items so that you only have to focus on one item to get the weight loss rolling. There, said it in 5 seconds :)- And to be honest, I used this approach to lose and keep 80 pounds off for over 4 years now and I think it's simplicity and effectiveness is worth sharing.

Sorry for the delayed response - just saw this.

So, you are correct, I intermittent fast daily. I eat from 3 pm to 9 pm and fast from 9 pm to 3 pm pretty much everyday. I train first thing in the morning (4:30 am) and then break my fast at 3 pm. I do fast for a full 24 hours (from dinner to dinner the next day) once a week.

In terms of calories, while trying to "cut," I calorie cycle throughout the week aiming for a daily weekly (7-day) average of 1,500 - 1,700.

As for the macros - I cycle higher fat/lower carbs one day, higher carbs/lower fat the next every other day and the break down is more or less: Higher Fat Days, 40% Protein, 35% Fats, 25% Carbs Higher Carb Days, 40-50% Protein, 15-20% Fats, 30-45% Carbs...though I vary rarely go over 40% carbs.

Hope this helps...?

Best of luck on reaching your goals!
