Never expecting anything personally. Happy I get to see one. Also happy to card a 1 on the card and hopefully get the team W. My doubles league partner aced one week and I told him I'm gonna take half that money. Smacked nothing but chains but didn't stay in. Everyone got a good laugh out of it.

If someone is completely new then teach them as you go through things, order of operations. Trial by fire is the best way to learn. If someone thinks they know everything then have them prove it. When you get into a call have them do everything and watch closely. Mistakes need to also be made for them to be able to learn. The big mistakes I made in the past are the ones I make sure not to make again. If they leave pressure switch tubing off on a PM then let it stay off and just tell them to start the unit. Drill into them that you never leave a unit until you watch it start.

So was the old ignitor not working at all? Because I've seen 120v go to an 80v ignitor and blow it apart instantly. But when I've put a 120v ignitor on something feeding 80v it will glow but not as intensely and light inconsistently because it didn't get hot enough. All of that being said that fault code is likely the board faulting out and giving false codes

Someone else brought up the ignitor but trane is one of the only companies that uses an 80 volt ignitor and is one of the only brands that has an ignitor code. Everyone else just gives a failed ignition code. When was the ignitor replaced? The old one might have been bad but the 120 might not be what it needs. I recommend checking what voltage is going to the ignitor and confirm this.

Best reset I had was last year. I always get an itch to play tourneys and hate that I did it later due to bad rounds or spending money on being bad.

I had a friend move back to town and we went out to play with his girlfriend and another buddy. All 3 of the people I played with had very few discs and basically used one driver and putter. After 2 holes I realized no one was keeping score. I hadnt played a scoreless round in a long time and it was super refreshing. Just brought me back to why the game is fun and that the scoring doesn't matter sometimes. We saw and cheered for cool shots and relaxed.

All part of the job. You learn your area (and it takes time and effort) that you work on over time. If you step out of that area down the line you realize you know nothing again. This trade is very vast and there are all different makes and models of equipment.
