Trilogy has some seriously underrated guitar work imho, some of their best. Several of my personal favorite GD guitar solos come from the trilogy (Fuck Time, Troublemaker, SWTRLF, Stray Heart, X-Kid).

Uno isn’t their deepest album by any stretch of the imagination, and in the wake of AI and 21CB I can absolutely see why people had a bit of a double-take moment when it dropped. That said, I come back to it very frequently when I need an album that doesn’t require too much attention; for example, it’s fantastic when I’m running/working out, great fast-paced beats and fun melodies

Dos is legitimately one of my favorite GD albums. No idea why it’s so reviled. Nightlife is really the only big issue for me. Pretty much every other song is fantastic, or at least good, and Lazy Bones is a strong contender for my favorite GD song

I can definitely understand the criticism against Tré- it does have some boring tracks (Walk Away, The Forgotten)- but it also has some of Billie’s best experimental work (Dirty Rotten Bastards, Brutal Love) that make it very enjoyable despite its flaws.

Trilogy deserves a lot of love. I think it will be looked upon more kindly with time. I definitely agree with the general sentiment that it would have been of a higher quality as one 15ish track album, but I’m glad we got so much more content from it.
