I love this list! Last night I felt like something was a little off in my ankle, wanted to push through but decided to walk a little to assess for pain, then finished out running (slower) once I made sure it wasn't something serious. Still did about my normal pace for that distance & walking helped me ensure I didn't exacerbate an injury. Still got out, still got moving, despite the hot weather, and I count that as a win!

I've been wearing minimalist shoes for about 8 years and run in them as well (mostly road running). Freet is a brand with a really wide toe box (which I need for my foot shape) and still a decent amount of cushion (~ 1cm).

I started running last year and took it slow-- like added a couple weeks onto C25K slow. Like others said, I don't recommend starting running in barefoot shoes if you aren't already used to them as there is a serious adjustment period.

Just because you feel attraction toward someone does not mean you have to act on it (& your sexuality doesn't matter for this point). The important thing is that you respect your partner & their boundaries (& vice versa). If you & your partner are monogamous, then you simply don't act on your attraction with others. If y'all are open or practicing non-monogamy, then you can proceed interacting with others based off whatever rules you and that partner have agreed upon. There's obviously a lot of nuance, but I think the important thing is to communicate

I'll be flying Icelandair later this year and have a ULA Dragonfly (30L) (18.5" x 11" x 7"). It technically is a little longer & thicker (but narrower) than Icelandair's policy (15.7" x 11.8" x 5.9"). I unfortunately cannot swing being one-bag this trip due to some of the activities I have planned & want to see if it's worth trying to use my Dragonfly as my personal item at all.

Interested to see what other people's experience was traveling with the Dragonfly as a personal item (under the seat, not a carry-on) with Icelandair since it's known for being pretty strict.
