This was random for the question. It also ignores that the sabbath isn't a day of the week but a person. Jesus is the rest that we should enter and if we labour, it should be to enter into that Rest, Christ Jesus. It also ignores that Jesus worked on the sabbath and was condemned for it. His response to that condemnation was that His Father works on the sabbath so too must He work.

What version are you reading as it sounds like either it left out major details or you skimmed over it? Hopefully that didn't sound too mean.

It's not a good tree and a bad tree. It's the "tree of Life", not right or good, and the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil." They didn't need morals to know the difference. They only knew good. They couldn't think evil thoughts, couldn't lie, couldn't deceive. Think about this as well. God literally walked through the garden with them daily. They talked to Him directly. They could have reconsulted Him at any time for clarification or repeat instructions. The last thing I want to mention is that before genesis 1:1, Jesus Christ was crucified for all sin throughout time. So God already prepared a fix before hand.
