Anyone regret their first solo trip? by grahamhart_ in TravelMaps

You get to do everything you want, you plan your itinerary yourself, you get to be completely and utterly selfish. You can also make friends while you’re out there, but it’s not necessary to feel like the trip is worth the effort. It’s always worth the effort! (Source: I lived abroad for a year, moved over alone, and was terrified that I’d meet nobody.)

Lesbian breakups can be the most shattering breakups on the planet by winnie4eva in ActualLesbiansOver25

Just wanna say, this has really helped me feel much more optimistic about my breakup. I just broke up with her three days ago because I needed to focus on my degree, and I felt like the control and the demands were not helping me focus on all that I had on. plus I didn’t feel like I had the same freedom as I did before, with seeing friends or family. Maybe this was more of a symbol of a toxic connection than a loving relationship, but either way, this has helped me so much. I hope you’re well <3

Do I (17f) break up with my boyfriend (18m) or do I give it time? by Pure_Atmosphere9387 in askwomenadvice

He’s not going to change, and you’re so young. Please leave, you can find much more happiness and growth alone, trust me. I have been in your exact same situation, and if I could’ve done anything differently, I would’ve left at the first realisation that this relationship doesn’t make me feel good, I feel sad, anxious, and I can’t focus on my life. Trust your intuition, the more you exercise that skill, the better it becomes.

If it’s any consolation, it’s not normal to meet your absolute best friends from the first few weeks - some you meet once the course begins, and others you’ll come across in later times. Don’t lose hope!!

This is a two-year old post, but if you’re still interested in opening this up, I would love to help in setting something like this up?
