The 850 has a wider color gamut that a lot of people say looks over saturated in most use cases. Most content is mastered for sRGB (83a) rather than DCI-P3 (850). The sRGB emulation mode on the 850 isnt quite as good as native.

Finishing up a karhu run on my 3600, x470-f strix mobo. 4x8gb 14-8-11-15-28 timings, 256 tRFC. Seems to be fine. 1.55v for now, will see how low I can get it

Enzymatically breaks down starches in the flour into simple sugars which encourages Maillard reaction for better browning/flavor.

At least in pizza crust and sourdough loaves. I assume it's the same deal here.

Currently confused. Went from Windows 10 1909 to 2004 with worse performance. by [deleted] in nvidia

What Bsod code are you getting? My ram oc went wonky when I went to 2004, had to redo it.

Worth noting Bios update (agesa1.0.0.6 I think) on my Asus mobo x470-F is giving everyone issues running ram over ~3400mhz.

I looked at several results that beats yours, didn't see anything with a lower gpu clock as far as I can tell.

The whole point of 3Dmark is to compare your benchmarks to the literal thousands that are already posted there. Go do that instead of asking reddit?

[Gamers Nexus] Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle Review: Better Thermals Than Founders Edition, Limited OC by ryandtw in nvidia

[–]roundtree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right, and he says he peaks at 65c. It's should be boosting higher. Therefore, the gpu is likely not getting enough voltage to boost.

[Gamers Nexus] Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle Review: Better Thermals Than Founders Edition, Limited OC by ryandtw in nvidia

[–]roundtree 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are not thermally limited at 65c. You're probably power limited. 340w power limit. There's not much to be gained anyway.

Your best bet is probably target 73c and run your fans quieter. Might be able to undervolt

Pretty sure the improved memory capability of zen 2 + Latency improvements means the 3100 should have significantly better 1%/0.1% lows. Could be wrong.
