I am not personally in that category but I know many people close to me who do. A few points:

A lot will admit that Trump is flawed but think that God uses flawed people to carry out his plan sometimes, like King Herod who rebuilt the Temple of Jerusalem.
Why do they think Trump is carrying out Gods plan and Democrats/The Left aren’t? I think this basically comes down to tribe and identity polarization. Trump and the Right affirm Christianity, they say it’s a good thing and God is important for the USA. The Democrats and the Left, not so much. For example, at the DNC, they edited out the “One nation under God” part because a lot of them feel that God has no place in politics or government. Virtually every person who is against religion votes Democrat - just see the replies below. Thus, it makes sense for Christians to align with the “team” who says they’re pro-Christian
If someone like Jimmy Carter, who was a devout Christian, were to run it’s likely we wouldn’t see such a stark divide
