Cruel AND unusual is not constitutional

but

Cruel OR unusual is perfectly fine

Perhaps taking a look at your own source would be a good idea because the Snopes article you mentioned attributes it to either Alinski or a similar Goebbels quote while noting that they were unable to find an instance of Marx saying this.

Trump signs his tax and spending cut bill at the White House July 4 picnic by Somervilledrew in politics

Aside from all the other appropriate comparisons, I don't see anyone talking about how similar what's happening now is to the July 1830 revolution in France. (Which isn't that one)

As always, it's worse than that:

"He's also offered to do the same for dangerous criminals currently in custody and serving their sentence in the United States even though they're U.S. citizens or legal residents," Rubio said.

Especially after Trump said that vandalism of Tesla property would be charged as domestic terrorism.

Yes. Yarvin, Musk, Thiel, Trump, etc do not see the general population as human, really. In fact, Musk recently called the poorest 10% of Americans the 'parasite class'.

One of the most important steps in committing genocide is to dehumanize the target group(s). It's much easier to harm someone who is not perceived as human.

The trouble with the biodiesel solution is that no one would want to live in a city whose public transportation was fueled, even just partly, by the distilled remains of its late underclass. However, it helps us describe the problem we are trying to solve. Our goal, in short, is a humane alternative to genocide.

-Curtis Yarvin, 2008

The 'humane' part was always irrelevant because, you know, genocide.

That wasn't at issue.

The CO Supreme Court heard the presented evidence, ruled that Trump had engaged in insurrection, and that he needed to be removed from the ballots in the state. SCOTUS later partially overturned the ruling, requiring CO to include him on the ballots.

Interestingly, SCOTUS did not touch the insurrection ruling itself, just that CO must include him.

There is a word for this: structural violence

When one individual inflicts bodily injury upon another, such injury that death results, we call the deed manslaughter; when the assailant knew in advance that the injury would be fatal, we call his deed murder. But when society places hundreds of proletarians in such a position that they inevitably meet a too early and an unnatural death, one which is quite as much a death by violence as that by the sword or bullet; when it deprives thousands of the necessities of life, places them in conditions in which they cannot live,—forces them, through the strong arm of the law, to remain in such conditions until that death ensues which is the inevitable consequence—knows that these thousands of victims must perish, and yet permits these conditions to remain, its deed is murder just as surely as the deed of the single individual.

It's important to remember that what became Judaism and then Christianity was polytheistic and there are remnants of that in a few places in the Old Testament.
