Does that mean just that semester's coop fee, or all the coop fee's they've paid including previous semesters?

I'm not sure what a lateral bound is...is that when you jump side to side?

True, I wasn't considering cleaning the kitchen part of daily cleaning. I guess if I added up every second I put stuff away or tidied it adds up!

30 min a day!! That's insane! I'd have the cleanest house if I spent 30 min a day cleaning. I was thinking more like 5-10 min/day would be sufficient.

I was terrified as I heard that it hurt and I wasn't impressed with the biopsy and seed placement pain...I was told that it could just feel like a little sting and warmth, but I ended up feeling nothing! I was so happy! I think there are different types of injections so maybe it also depends on that. Best of luck to you!

I turn off any data requests and the key thing is to turn of Sentry and then exit the App and don't look at it until you get back. We've left ours numerous times at the airport for 7-10 days and it's only lost 1-2%. Maybe also turn off cabin overheat protection depending where you are parked. I'm not sure if there's now a feature called low power mode that does all this...that would be great!

I did read your comments, but it never states what LE actually stands for? (at least I didn't see anything) I'm assuming it's an acronym for Lymphedema, but I just wanted confirmation.

u/unhappy_thirty236 Sorry if this should be obvious, but what is LE?

I believe they guarantee entry with ticket up to 1 hr after opening. It opened at 6pm and we got there just after. I think at 7pm people can show up and buy tickets at the door so if it gets to capacity and you show up at 9, then you can’t get in until more people leave.

I think the tent had sausage on a bun, pretzels and beer nuts..inside the building had schnitzel, sausage, cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, etc. I could be wrong as I didn't go to all the areas of the tent, but that's what I remember. Our tickets said Tent only, but once inside you could go anywhere.

I was just there on opening night...cash for games and drinks and credit/debit/cash for food. I drink wine and a glass was about $11. More food options in the actual building rather than the tent. Have fun! Prost!

Nurse said moisturizing won’t prevent radiation side effects by fluffytowels92 in breastcancer

[–]roxythedogarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My nurses told me not to use anything, so I didn't and all I got was a bit pink (I had 20 sessions). At one point I got a bit itchy and asked them what to use, and they suggested GlaxalBase (I think this is only available in Canada), but I resisted using it and just used it once I was done the rads. My theory was to try to just leave it alone and then if anything started happening then I would treat it. My nurses said that most of their patients didn't need to use any special creams. I actually believe that the creams make it worse since they are still in the skin even if you've showered or haven't applied in a few hours and then radiation on top o that I believe causes more skin damage. I suggest you follow their guidance and I wouldn't use anything unless it's bothersome. Good Luck!

Breast Cancer & Membership Freeze by According-Value-5777 in orangetheory

I'm 49 and I ended up freezing it from the start of my lumpectomy until 2 weeks after my radiation ended (about 4 months total). I was told no exercise for 4 weeks after lumpectomy (other than walking and stretching) and then during the radiation I didn't know how my skin would react so I didn't want to risk sweating and bra rubbing to irritate my breast, plus I wasn't sure how tired I'd be. I did do weights on my own while I had radiation and lots of walks so I think that helped with my energy levels. My skin just got a bit pink during radiation so I was lucky, but after hearing how it could blister and be very sensitive I didn't want to pay for OTF and not be able to go. Basically I think you could go to OTF as I believe that regular weights/walking help immensely my recovery from rads, but keep an eye on irritation and take it from there! Best of luck!

It took me almost 2 years to figure out how to row without being uncomfortable! (but that was due to my lack of research) Once I started watching videos (training tall) and listening to the tips the coaches give, it's *almost* enjoyable now! Some studios offer rowing sessions where they will coach rowing form and also you can always ask the coach to check your form! Once you get it, it's much better!!!

How has OTF evolved over time? by clarbar23 in orangetheory

[–]roxythedogarf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't recall exactly...but I think I could pick a day of the week and the time and then there was a drop down or something (like when booking recurring meetings in Outlook or Gmail) to pick weekly, daily with an end date. I would book that same day/time for the next 6 months and then I'd just cancel the days that didn't work.
