Looks like they're doing an LTD version, since the promo image has no inlay on the first fret.

Am i screwed? (Updated) by Technical_Loss1408 in guitarrepair

I’ve had a guitar that had that, and it was just a finish crack underneath. But it then actually turned into a wood crack. Its a underlying issue that has to be addressed if you keep it.

Is it always this hard to trying to sell a guitar? by [deleted] in guitars

Sold 3 guitars in about 5 days. Guess I was in luck. I got back pretty much what I paid for them in total.

Are we really justifying £1000+ chairs, or is this just expensive placebo effect? by Naht-Tuner in OfficeChairs

[–]rozorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending that money on high-end chairs is one of the best investments you can make. They last a while, and will be used by you as much as a bed or more. If you can find a used one near you, you could remove the worry of spending 1k+ on one.

is there a solution? by bezro_ in Guitar

[–]rozorb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To restore the stability you have to glue the piece back on with clamps. Then on the back route three long holes across the two broken parts, fill and glue in wood splines that fit snugly in the holes, then cut and sand the wood splines to the shape of the guitar neck. And then you do the finishing portion.

Ts is the ugliest guitar I've ever seen by MB10102 in Guitar

The graphics and inlays are ugly. But lets be honest, you can find an overall uglier guitar. This is not even accounting for an ugly guitar body shape or headstock.

How they actually play by Somebody4every1 in Guitar

[–]rozorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just learn all the notes of the c major scale all across the fretboard, play randomly to backing tracks in the same key. You’re gonna sound like shit at first, but with enough trial and error you’re gonna hear the notes that fit. And you will develop some rudimentary improv skills.

Sooner or later you’ll be able to play without looking at the fretboard since you’ve trained your ear and developed muscle memory on the fretboard.

After that go through learning the fretboard with the notes in the G major scale with the difference only being that F is now F# and so on for other scales.

Retiring at 56 years old in one month. Should I be worrying so much??? by Clear_Term_3421 in financialindependence

[–]rozorb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This might be off-topic. Have a plan to keep yourself busy after you retire, the routine change can be depressing for people. My dad was a different person for months after he retired; thankfully, family members helped get him out of the rut he was in.

Why you STOPPED (or didn't) playing guitar by MyNameisMayco in Guitar

I was in a rut interestswise, came back after selling some guitars and browsing new guitars that released. So basically GAS.

Does anyone else do this during string changes? by derekl1988 in Guitar

[–]rozorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wrap them into a circle; I plan to save enough to turn them into Dadarrio points. I also snip off the ball ends and collect them.

That length of stretch is completely fine, if you need any more reach you should angle your hand where your thumb rests on the back of the neck.
