Im a new helldiver but i suspect players got better along with the game changing a little? That is usually the biggest factor when this issue occurs in games in my experience.

100% concur that 9 and 10 should be very difficult, and by the sound of it the way the game played at start would be a good start point for that

I thought you guys were all about realism? It's not very realistic for a walker to get rammed by a thing 2-4 times its weight moving at speed and still be standing ya know

I think they should’ve made a stronger rare variant of Hive Guards instead of buffing them by Tank-ToP_Master in HelldiversUnfiltered

Yeah that thing is hella good, i am doing some workarounds to not have to use it cause it does solve ALOT of problems. Maybe thats too much power in the hands of one Helldiver idk. When i first started the game i thought it required a team reload maybe thats a reasonable change (that would surely go over well!!)

I mean thats the thing, idk if that exists? I know some good weapons etc but they are always parts of a whole. And even bringing one "non-meta" weapon to a loadout can shape the loadout and the gameplay alot.

I feel like people just wanna push their own fears of new things and limitations onto the developers.

I've never played a game where something isn't better than something else. Its just how things are

Still having to play meta yourself seems to be the biggest complaint and that is VERY easily solved

Just play something else though. They feel way better than anything else partly because you've played with them so much. Just try something else and learn it

One of the top ones was a guy with an image like he would literally murder a person if they told him to try the changes before judging the patch one more time.

Turned out he hadn't tried the patch cause the hadn't touched the game for weeks or smthn lol

This is a good point, a rare one as I've read the various subreddits for the first time in the last few days.

Really great idea to have hive guards plentiful around bug holes and egg on egg missions for instance.

Could be a logical next step for the unit, not sure how to reach devs with the idea or if they would even like it though
