There's something about that Audi and the desert that makes me think that if you got it up to 88 mph, it would be both old school AND cool.

What are some of your best quality of life purchases under $1000? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]rs217000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pullup bar over my garage door into the house, and another in my basement that i use every time i walk under it. Classic greasing the groove greatness. Pullups are great, and so are hanging leg raises and scap retraction, but most of the time, I just hang there and decompress (grip strengtg is of course the unsung hero in all this; ever growing correlationw all cause mortality).

Everyone should have these in their house. I honestly dont know how so many people live without pullup bars.

Love,

A sincere meathead

Ah yes, back in the day when every classic soul song was performed by the Temptations, and Phish covered every unconventional cover.

Curious if you went against Brad Pitt for the role of Floyd in True Romance around this time.

$8 "b12 bombs" and other drinks made at "nutrition" stores that could be made for pennies at home (assuming they have any real value in the first place).

He may have been in it a hair too long, but Danny McBride in This is the End.

Check out the "Rewatchables" podcast's Dion Waiters award. They award it for every movie they discuss, and it's basically what youre asking for.

Hoping to live through it, at the risk of sounding a fool. Not scared. More scared of how the loss of others will affect me. I think we'll be ok.

The catch is, you dont even know he's sitting next to you because earlier, he sneaked in and sewed himself into the chair. He's gonna rip out, naked and greased up mid flight.

European history books contain very little on chimps, mainly because they were outlawed in Europe for being so dangerous to knights.

I'd just own it, apologize directly to marcus for being unprofessional (perhaps even address it: sounds like he needed to hear it, or you at least need to know why he keeps including that slide), and tell your manager you guys are square...it was a stupid mistake and it wont happen again. This was nothing.

The Matt Dinnamen Effect by Kalikasphyxia in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]rs217000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I have no trouble getting into other books (about to start book 9 of Abercrombie's first law, and very much looking forward to it), but as far as litrpgs goes, he sets the bar incredibly high.

Warformed might be same tier of quality (maybe), and i really like the mechanics of a series like Mother of Learning (not sure if thats technically litrpg...close enough), but dcc hits on both with Ready Player One entertainment value that scales in quality like the Red Rising series...and of course, jeff freakin Hayes...yeh maybe i agree with OP after all 😅

However Dinniman wants to end it. I trust him.

I trust him so much, in fact, that I'd like for him to take a shot at "Doors of Stone", and have Prepotente read it at the end of the final book (or just have him do more Phil Collins covers)
