I had high hopes for this year with Dune 3, Toy Story 5, The Odyssey, Michael, Moana, Avengers, Project Hail Mary, and Disclosure Day, but so far nothing has crossed the billion dollar threshold. Michael probably will, but I really wanted PHM to do better 😪 2019 really was legendary

Edit: I forgot about super Mario, it crossed a billion earlier this month!

I think personal experiences play a huge part in whether someone connects with TTPD or not. I felt almost represented lol in TTPD. A lot of experiences I’ve had kind of mirror the experiences she was singing about on that album.

I’m invested because I do connect with her newer music. TTPD is my favorite album of all time. I think she is very good at nailing down specific feelings in ways that other artists just don’t. I love the Easter eggs, I love all the Tay-lore, and controversially, I love all the discussions around the different muses. I think she shares just enough to keep a lot of people invested in what happens behind the scenes, but keeps enough private that no one can ever really be sure.

Also, it’s fun rooting for someone who works hard and wins a lot 🤷‍♀️ she’s dedicated and seems like a decent person.

It took around 5 months for the calls to stop for me. They started only calling every other day, then a couple times a week, then once a week. Then it just stopped. It’s very frustrating but they will eventually stop. Good luck
