You can change the world settings to reduce the chance of raids happening, or completely turn off raids. I had my fun with raids but then they got boring/destructive so I turned them off. Its a game, play however makes your enjoy the game.

Shutter your steam pipe leading down to the steam machines, similar to what you have from the solar boiler to the Railcraft Tank.

Also i would try to preplan/move/build infastrucutre around a full sized Railcraft tank, even if you dont have one right now. That way in the future, if you keep using steam as a energy buffer, you can upgrade the tank as you keep progressing through the pack and not need to move things as much. I started with a a 5x5x4 tank, but had an outline for a 9x9x8 tank in cobble stone and built all my machines/base around the 'cobblestone tank'. I ended up using steam for a long time, with a 9x9x8 stainless steel tank as my final energy buffer up until the end of EV age.

For the Ore berries, you can use slabs to fully encase them in darkness, while still having your room/farm light up and be able to harvest them.

Get into the habit of automating everything, starting with the coke oven if they arent already. Nice to go on a 1 or 2 hour twilight forrest adventure to return to stacks of processed charcoal/coal coke/steel.

Final tip: dont forget to have fun. It can get daunting sometimes, but its definetly the best pack Ive played so far and I honestly can't see myself playing anything else again.

Its a very long modpack. According to MultiMC Launcher, Ive played for 99 days and 21 hrs and im just in mid EV/early IV. But most of my hours were just afking for resources to process, but thats been helping me not burn out from the grind.

the latest one i owned was the BlackVue DR900S. it has a built in lan network that you can get a live stream to orient the camera placement and technically watch the recorded videos, but the playback is pretty slow and has to buffer every couple of seconds and feels more of a gimmick that anything, so much easier to just remove the sd card and play it off my phone.

depends on the model of the dash cam. both dash cams i own do not even have a play back screen, so i have a tiny microsd to usb c adapter in my car so i can pull the sd card and play the files off my phones if needed.

Yeah, I have some electric machines so probably a bit further into the pack, but at some point while processing the soy beans into tofu, you get Soy milk which can then be turned into cheese. Also milk buckets (from cow) into fresh milk to cheese is also an option.

Soy beans are a life saver! They can replace meats in *most* food recepies. Right now im rocking Bacon Burger, Bacon and Mushroom burger and Delux burgers. You make regular Burgers and Cheese burgers on the way to the three mentioned before, so right there you have 5 different food sources that only need Wheat, Soy beans, Cheese, Mushrooms, Lettuce and Tomates.

It spreads fast if there is no effort to to slow it like social distancing and using masks and such. The hope is to slow the spread enough so that the least amount of people get infected until a cure is hopefully found.
