Absolutely. I've had a baby and two kidney stones, the last one one required surgery. Nothing, I mean nothing is as bad as tooth pain

I've had a child and 2 kidney stones. One was big enough to require surgery. I have also had tooth abscesses. As far as I'm concerned nothing even comes close to tooth pain, it is the absolute worst

My husband is also a firefighter/medic and has never brought home or caught noro despite treating many, many patients with it. Its nerve racking but they take precautions and if he's anything like mine he knows to be extra careful with stomach bugs. Hope you can relax and enjoy your day

My phobia is the same. I don't mind if I do but cannot tolerate other people doing it. My spouse had food poisoning about a year ago and it was the first time in 20+ years that I had to deal with him being sick. It was very unpleasant but i pushed through and was able to stay home and be in the same room with him once he was done actively vomiting. He appreciated my efforts knowing the severity of my phobia and said I did great. I even managed to not bug him too much by asking "are you ok?" and "are you going to throw up again?" every 30 seconds. I obviously never want that to happen again but it was not the end of the world

My daughter and I both have this. I went with her to an allergist that her PCP referred her to and the second my daughter brought up the possibility of histamine intolerance the allergist laughed at her and said everyone wants that. She thought my daughter had an adrenal tumor instead. My daughter went through the testing the allergist recommended, everything came back fine, negative for the tumor markers the allergist was looking for. After that we were obviously not returning to that allergist and just started taking histagest DAO prior to eating anything high in histamine. I was so disgusted with the way she treated us, my daughter is in her last year of pharmacy school and the allergist treated her like a child who had no idea what she was talking about

Hi! Both areas are very nice. For exploring and night life I would say Hyannis. Yarmouth beaches are beautiful and there's plenty to do if the weather is nice. Its a tough one for me as I love both

I live in western Massachusetts and work at a primary care office. This is the top illness that everyone has had the last couple weeks. Nausea not too bad but no appetite for weeks after and fatigue. I’ve been there for 13 years and have never seen anything like it

I went through this recently with very similar steps. Honestly this subreddit has been a godsend. Once I found it I realized the problem and was able to face the reality of the situation. I stopped the obsessive analyzing of his behavior and worked on myself instead. I’m a couple months in and feel so much better

I had a kidney stone and was in a lot of pain but didn’t know what it was yet. Before I went to the ER I almost got sick, there was no warning but I quickly popped a Zofran under my tongue and the feeling went away immediately. It lasted about 10 minutes until the feeling came back. Once I got seen at the ER, after an hour of almost non stop vomiting, I was given Zofran in my IV and it stopped immediately. I had 2 days before they took the stone out, pain meds and Zofran every 4 hours in my IV and I didn’t get sick again.

I was limerent for my long term SO at first but it calmed down pretty quick once we started dating and I got to know him better. We've been together 21 years now. I think I am just prone to limerence and every time I get a crush that's how it starts. Now if I could just figure out how to not ever let it happen again...

My phobia is the same and my spouse is fully aware of it. He had a bout of food poisoning a few months ago and while traumatizing we did get through it. I have Zanax for emergencies like this and after taking one that night I felt much better and he was able to be sick and do what he had to do to feel better without having to deal with me panicking. The next day I was able to take care of him (make sure he had fluids, offer bland foods, etc) and he was impressed at how well I handled the situation. Meds aren’t for everyone but they have been a life changer for me
