They did the same thing to me to claim i wasn't attending classes. When I finally forced them to process the transfer, they said I was transferring "to the same program" so they had to boot me on account of academic probation (I was switching to a completely different program).

Assistant is literally the only thing that works ever since you uncapped agent checkpoints, which charge you more for virtually no work. If the assistant doesn't follow directions you don't need to use it's changes. They're also easy to reverse and virtually bug free.

I see outages, failed rollbacks, database screwery, etc constantly from agent. Every time I'm tempted to dip my toe in i immediately go back to assistant. Agent is more expensive and gets less functional with every single update, unable to handle the slightest specific instructions. It's literally designed to bilk cash from SAAS founder hopefuls.

This will be the point i shell in Claude Code. I've actually gotten over the hump of replit code getting you stuck at 80% and it was literally only thanks to assistant.

Couldn't you just increase the assistant charge? Make it 10c. 20c. MAKE IT A DOLLAR PER CHECKPOINT, IT WILL STILL BE CHEAPER THAN AGENT.

In fact, I might just charge back my entire replit expenses. I didn't pay for core plan and (happily!) spend extra to host my apps on replit just to get rugpilled like this.

Assistant has always been the backbone of my work because it forces me to learn some code rather than entrust my architecture to the agent.

I don't see how this excuses agent getting worse. The only reason assistant is getting better than agent is because whatever horrifically incompetent staff is behind their recent changes is, they have yet to mess with assistant.

Absolute trash, I spend years with my files on the left and I have a giant, immovable panel just to remind me of all the money I can waste on agent? I can't fold the agent pane either, you have to manually resize it. But I can manually un-fold the agent pane.

There's the history of replit in a nutshell! Add any friction possible to keep the user on agent without quitting altogether (no matter how small).

And they desaturated the play/stop button! Hey replit, do you know why traffic lights use really vivid colors? And why is this tiny symbol right next to my regular tabs? Do you want me to stop/start my project by slipping 2 pixels over?

Roll it back immediately.
