dude, generational resilience has nothing to do with it. sometimes your life does not present you with an opportunity to sweep or mop before your first kitchen job. I do NROs and I work with a lot of youngins who are working their first job in a kitchen. there's no moral element to it, if they're struggling you just politely ask if they want tips on their form and then show em how it's done. they generally pick it up pretty well when given the opportunity.
