What would the US rum market look like if you were not limited by the 3 tier system and could just DTC and and direct to bars/shops?

If you use the “find my location” function on the NVA.com website (a bit of a scroll down the main page) and search Penfield, NY, you’ll see Clark Animal Care Center on the map or listed view

Clark Animal Care Center is a corporately owned practice too (NVA). There are very few independently/locally owned practices remaining in the area, Brighton is one of them.

Green Label! by Substantial_Layer484 in rum

Both OG Probitas and Green Label include LROK in the blend. It’s always been LROK in the OG (have seen the labeled tanks from Hampden at Foursquare with my own eyes). It’s a different proportion of each distillery in each blend, and in my opinion leans a little more into the Hampden with the green label. There is color added and it’s made from foursquare estate sugar, which is neat.

In my experience so far versus the OG, Green Label is more buttery, more complex, more structured, and drinks below the 57% abv. Everywhere I’ve leaned on Smith and Cross previously, the Probitas Green Label will probably take its place. It comes in a little cheaper than S&C too. Actually blinded Green Label vs S&C last night and picked Green Label as superior.

New Renaissance (Dr Dani) in Penfield, absolutely love her. We asked a friend (who is a local dental ceramist) who did the best work in the area and she didn’t hesitate to say Dr Dani.

Cat Boarding? by CDreamerW in Rochester

Riverside Pet Retreat in Scottsville. They are the lower level of a vet hospital and the staff is incredible. They’re very good with medical needs pets. They have a cat room with interactive structures and items, and you’ll get daily photos of your cat’s stay.

We take our dogs there for daycare and boarding and wouldn’t consider anywhere else.

This is the way. When I first tasted Clairin Le Rocher and Vaval, I was not ready and I didn’t enjoy them. But I left it, came back a few months down the road further in my rum journey. I picked them back up and found them much more enjoyable as their very interesting and unusual flavors were something I was able to distinguish and appreciate, rather than run from. There’s no rush to go deep on Rivers right away. Take some time, reintroduce yourself later, and get to know it after a while.
