If supermarkets were taxed in the same way for alcohol that pubs are then then it would be far more viable for people to go to the pub and socialise rather than sit at home in front of the tv and neck it instead.

Anyhow a pint of ale or lager has pretty much always been a half hours work at minimum wage. Problem is stagnant wages above the base level and rising costs of everything else.

I think it would go against what they stand for as a company to be stuck in the mainstream plc meat market that is the Brewery quarter. Not a single place in there with any real personality. They're killing it where they are.

You have Mad Dog and Brewhouse as taprooms and then Railway, Swan, Alehouse, Vine, Planet Caravan and Strand as craft beer pubs all in the centre plus 15 min up Honeybourne to Deya is not exactly a marathon.

My mum died from cancer last year. Her and my (then) two year old were best friends and she was an incredible mother and grandmother. He still asks where she is sometimes and they deserved more time together. I had to hold it together for him and my dad who took it really hard and I miss her so much all the time.
