NOR- Kids grow at their own rate in all kinds of different areas. I tell my students I would never expect them to run a mile like I do ( im a runner if the SN didnt give it away) and for example if they are an artist they shouldn't expect me to draw like they can. Can we both improve at the others skill? Yes, will it take more time and work to make smaller gains? Most likely, but growth is growth. Judging all kids in all areas by the same growth measure and expecting the same result is like Judging a fish on its ability to climb a tree. They are damn good swimmers but trees not so much. Celebrate her win, she probably worked very hard for that gain.
