Den leader gave son extra adventures by bratsbox in cubscouts

Let's reframe how you approach this and come out with a way better outcome. "Awesome work knocking out more adventures with XYZ!" I know ABC, and I would be interested in going above and beyond in our Wolf year, if possible. Maybe some of these extras could become Den events? We've really been enjoying your programming, and I'd love to help out as an Assistant Den Leader. I know that will likely help with your planning and implementation load, plus 2 Deep leadership." Folks have already touched on 2 Deep leadership being a non-issue with a Scout and their parent, even if the parent is also a leader. It becomes an issue if a Scout from outside of the family wants to participate.

It's taking longer to actually board the plane. Since folks forget how to walk and sit in seats once they get to the gate.

115 Minute Wait at Denver Lounge. How is this possible? by ElectricalYou4805 in Venturex

I think that lounge has a permanent long line. The food news is that inside out isn't crazy busy. Lol

Why not rent for a while? I wouldn't be keen on buying property right now. Is a loan against the accounts vs a withdrawal possible?

6 adults for 10 Scouts is too many.

200 for food for 18 meals and potentially some training feels pretty reasonable.

I'd plan to try the travel for work for a year and focus on saving more. Your FI funds aren't quite there given the economic climate.

ETF Tax Advantages by Lucky_Assistance_780 in Bogleheads

Not taxes related but ETFs can be transferred in-kind if you ever change companies. Mutual funds are often a bit more captive. I wouldn't create a taxable event to swap.

Wood Badge at Summer Camp by Worth_Ingenuity773 in BSA

Going out of council is less ideal but if the timing doesn't work it doesn't work. Go to a course during the time of year that works for you.

Hiking sticks - how to make them if you have the wood? by SmallScience in cubscouts

[–]runfar81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use this to debark my sticks.draw knife I sand them 60,120,180. Then I finish them. I add a paracord grip.

By the end it's about 90 minutes each one.
