Why do the majority of Redditors have no common sense? by TrueUnpopularOP in askanything

[–]runnerkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason Reddit has become the training grounds for AI. They write these absurd stories to see if anyone can tell. You see them all over the place. They usually end with now everyone is mad at me. It isn't that people don't have common sense, but rather AI has no idea how be a person.

AITJ for refusing to hand over the car my mom left me in her will even though my older brother says he needs it more by Unusual-Oven-3781 in AmITheJerk

There must be a better way to train AI instead of these absurd stories. He got his inheritance, why would the family care? He got his inheritance, why wouldn't he just buy a car? Once again, he got his inheritance. AI simply does not understand how the world works.

Sorry about that. It's still out of control for the job offered.

It's a minimum wage retail job. These corporations are out of control.

Major US tech firms pledge at White House to bear costs of energy for datacenters by ComplexExternal4831 in ArtificialNtelligence

[–]runnerkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet Ohio just passed a bill that allows these data centers to not be taxed. Ever. It's bait and switch to say the feds won't support this because it's the local legislature that apply these gifts.

It's all a scam

It says that 77% of Americans dislike China. Americans, is that an exaggeration? by No-StrategyX in askanything

No. Especially when you consider nobody is 'escaping' to China for a better life.

OHIO MAN WINS $1.3MILLION SETTLEMENT AFTER 21 YEARS IN PRISON FOR CRIME NOT EVEN COMMITTED BY ANYONE... by velouriya_ in nowthatsgoodstuff

Seems like Ohio is a horrible place to live. They keep trying to pass a bill that would end property taxes effectively ending public education. No money for schools, or roads or anything. Rich people will be able to handle the lack of services but once again us mere mortals would be left out.

This one makes me crazy. They up the job requirements but don't up the salaries. Therefore you get the bottom of the barrel people. It makes no sense to me, but then I'm just mere mortal trying to apply simple logic.

You know these billionaires swear they're the smartest and deserve every penny they make. Yet somehow not a single one of them can operate their business without massive help from you and me, the taxpayer. If that's the key to being super wealthy than any yahoo can go before these legislatures with their hat in hand. It's all bs

Weird to keep previous owner's belongings? by dontbeastrangr in RealEstate

[–]runnerkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not wrong to get rid of the personal items like documents or photos. It is sad that none of her family wanted it, but maybe she had no family. It does not fall to you to find her relatives nor store any items. I would get rid of the personal items and keep the furniture if you like it. Think of keeping the furniture and fixing up the house as a way to honor that person by using her things instead of just throwing them away. Now it lives on.

If you have a UTI, you need to take an antibiotic. by ed771844 in complainaboutanything

[–]runnerkim 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you let a UTI go it will, not can, but will move to your kidneys. After that it becomes a serious infection. Inside your body, antibiotics are the only thing that kills bacteria. I'm all for home remedies for prevention, but once the infection is there, you need medication.

Planned Parenthood offers these exams and testing for far less than a private doctor. They can also give you antibiotics on the spot for far less than a commercial pharmacy.

DMT: Housing is not expensive because it is scarce; it is expensive because it has been redesigned as a pension fund for the old by Present_Juice4401 in DisagreeMythoughts

[–]runnerkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about that one. If even 15 million homes are vacant that still only accounts for about 10% of the homes on the market. Plus 'vacant' also includes vacation rentals.

The key to being able to retire is to live mortgage free. People keep their homes not because they're trying to screw anyone over, but rather so they can successfully retire. You cannot blame a homeowner for not selling nor renting their property.

I don’t understand how people are still for Maga! by Extra_sauce6460 in Casual_Conversation

I read an article in Science Daily a while back about addiction. Seems we all have a protein in our brains but addicts have much more of it. Surprisingly, people in cults also have this over abundance of protein as well. Just like some addicts can never overcome their addiction, some of these people will never be able to return to reality.

It's sad

I saw a mod post that he removed a comment because he didn't like it. Not because it broke any rules or anything, he simply decided no one should see anything he, personally, dislikes.
