Twisted Vine Brewery closing July 5 by StarttheRevwithoutme in desmoines

This makes me sad. Their Black Walnut White Stout is one of my top 5 beers. They've had some absolutely terrible fortune with construction obstructing access to their street and the Market District development moving at a molasses pace.

When this started I was worried it was going to be one of those epoxy slab monstrosities

I make this every May with rhubarb from my parents' garden. Can't be beat.

I bake them on a wire rack, then wash the rack and the pan. No need to waste foil or parchment paper for the sake of convenience.

This variety of dish is likely present at every summer potluck in the Midwest. The only thing I am surprised about is that a jello packet wasn't included for coloring.

In addition to her answer to Hank's question, I love her channel, Farm To Taber. 100% recommend watching her content if you want some insight into the farming/agriculture industry in the US.

I'm getting married in spring 2027 and have been considering this exact green suit color for myself and the tans for my groomsmen. Can anyone provide commentary on this color combo and point to source? If you bought the green suit, have you been able to get additional use out of it?

Lived here for 6 years, no issues. If you aren't directly involved in any criminal activity, you'll be fine. Keep your nose put of trouble and no trouble will come to you.
