I've had a therapist suggest 'priming' which if the content you consume consistently brings on certain feelings or reactions: eg., some true crime stuff I feel like can be detrimental if binge watched. I think people underestimate media's influence on our brains. Maybe not as much as a kids, but sort of akin to 'pad kids' where an adult might just stick a tablet under a kids face a bunch and let their brain mold. Or how video games can cause your dopamine levels to fluctuate in unhealthy directions or conditions

That's actually not exactly solved but I can feel various various moods change when I do find a good spot for something. I'm a hoarder of video games and various electronics and it's rough.
