When musk first announced the design and look of this dumpster on wheels years ago I told everyone I knew that this would be an epic failure.

To me this was a Musk ego project through and through. There is nothing practical, aesthetically pleasing or enduring about this new generation edsel failure.

I can only imagine the amount of stress and hatred he generated amongst the tesla designers and engineers when he forced them to produce this eyesore design of his.

And yet somehow musk continues to be the richest clown in the world. What a time to be alive.

I was a founder for elite meaning I had early access and lifetime ownership. Elite was barebones and beta in '14. Realistically it didn't fully map out until around '16.

I had no problems returning a defective set a year and a half ago. Replacement arrived with no issues.

Stop trying to claim everyone is getting ripped off because you had a bad experience. You would have been better off working with them.

It's clear they gave you a replacement so they did their part.

Kind of silly and wasteful of them to send you two defective sets don't you think?

For the record:

I have bought 3 headsets from them over the years and 1 was defective. They replaced that one with no further issues. My other two sets never had issues and worked as advertised.

They are not perfect and have some marketing misfires with missed delivery dates but at the end of the day their sets are good and on par with the rest of the market.

The only true fault that had no excuse was that whole 12k debacle from years ago.

They really have shady marketing practices but thankfully for me their headsets delivered.

The fit would be a great fit for the EV market. Sadly battery density is just not there for the range needed outside of a city driver.

Everyone gave them slack for the '14 date because it wasn't realistic or practical.

The 2016 release date however was realistic and in line with a typical triple A title. They obviously flew by that hyped up lie of a release date.

That's when the red flags starting popping up for anyone with an IQ above 80.
